The Co-operating Netherlands Foundations for Central and Eastern Europe (CNF) provide financial and technical assistance to grassroots initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe. Initiatives by and for people who are vulnerable because of the physical, social, mental or economic disadvantages they are facing. Through this support we aim to contribute to better life conditions for these people.

'Today's children are tomorrow's parents' - project supported by the Dutch MATRA programme in full swing
Kinderpostzegels (CNF country coordinator) and TALDi (Tuzla) have started the implementation of a three year project for children from multi-problem families in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Project interventions are focused on the improvement of the quality of life and developmental opportunities of these children. The project is financially supported by the Matra Programme of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
NGOs are supported in the process of establisment and operational work of 7 day care centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will focus on provision of high quality and child focussed support for children from multi-problem families. The centres are established in Čelinac, Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Konjic, Ljubija, Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi, Trebinje and Tuzla. Also in Subotica in Serbia and Herceg Novi in Montenegro, centres have been established. The staff of the centres will participate in 11 trainings and benefit from monitoring visits.
